At PwC our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions divestitures and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.

Those in capital projects management at PwC will focus on overseeing and managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects enabling them to be completed on time and within budget. Your work will demonstrate and build on strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate various stakeholders and resources.

The Opportunity:

As a Capital Projects & Infrastructure Senior Associate (Bilingual FR/ENG)youllwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve business issues deliverhigh qualityclient service and operational efficiency.Responsibilitiesincludebut are notlimitedto:

• Draft reports and information documents of a commercial and financial nature business cases and analyses related to various procurement methods

• Take part in the developmentand reviewof complex commercial and financial models

• Develop a holistic understanding of the process of strategic planning procurement and financialstructuring of capital and infrastructure projects

• Develop an in-depth understanding of various sectors such as mining transportationhealthand energy

• Support in building and reviewing governance structures and conducting PMO activities

• Liaise between PwC and clients teams

• Understand and assess client needs to provide them with information essential to making informed decisions

• Advise clients on best practices in the management of capital and infrastructure projects and support them in the implementation of these recommendations

• Contribute to the development of the CP&I practice and the PwC brand

WhatYoull Bring :

• The successful candidaterequiresfluency in English in addition to French as they willbe requiredto support or collaborate with English-speaking clients colleagues and/or stakeholdersduring the course oftheir employment with PwC Canada

• An engineering degree (civil mechanical electricalindustrialor related discipline)

• Experience working on major capital projects ideally in construction project management projectcontrolsor PMO roles

• Handsonexperienceonindustrialenergy infrastructure transportation or railprojects

• Practical exposure to project controls including cost management scheduling progress measurement riskmanagementand change control

• Experience supporting or working with contracting and commercial structures including claims variations commercialnegotiationsor contract administration (asset)

• Ability to bridge technicalcommercialand financial considerations in complex project environments

• Strong communicationpresentationand writing skills including the ability to summarize complex technical and commercial issues for senior stakeholders

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret project dataschedulesand cost information

• Professional designation such as PMP will be considered an asset

• Flexibility and adaptability to a fastpaced deliveryoriented consulting environment

• Strong teamwork skills and comfort working on complex projects

• This roledoesntsupport completion of the Canadian CPA designation

The salary range for this position is $58400 - $97500. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary is determined by your skills experience qualifications and work addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
