Mechanical Designer

Primero Americas team is currently looking for a Mechanical Designer.
This is a unique opportunity to join our talented team and be part of Primeros growth and success. Primero is an Australian-founded company established in 2011 and rapidly growing in Montreal since 2016. We specialize in the design procurement and construction management of mineral processing plants. Primeros mission is to become the engineering reference in lithium processing and we are proud to contribute directly to the electrification of global transportation.
Your mission:
As a Mechanical Designer you will be responsible for producing 3D models 2D drawings detailed mechanical drawings and general arrangements in support of project requirements while ensuring the quality consistency and compliance of deliverables. You will contribute to the development of plant layouts the maintenance of component libraries and the continuous improvement of design practices.
You will work closely with the mechanical engineering and design teams and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices within the team particularly in supporting more junior designers.
