Pay Rate: $19.71/hr

Job Duties Include:

• Perform basic kitchen duties including but not limited to; peeling and cutting assisting with banquet plate up delivering food items for functions to various areas in the hotel
• Adhere to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency and ensure all standards are met
• Ensure that station opening and closing procedures are carried out to standard
• Keep overproduction and food waste to a minimum in order to reduce food cost expense
• Will operate all kitchen equipment and conduct themselves with safety in mind at all times
• Ensure that all food products are handled stored prepared and served safely in accordance with hotel and government Food Safety guidelines.

Qualifications :

• Passionate about Culinary Arts with a positive attitude and a desire to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High School diploma an asset
• Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen an asset
• Previous H&S & WHMIS an asset

You may be required to work on holidays weekends overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
