Then look no further!Savanna Well Servicing is looking to grow our business and we are currently hiring for the role of Service Rig Floorhand based out of a number of our field office locations in Western Canada.Join Savanna's team and let our successes become yours!The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the general maintenance of a well servicing rig including keeping the rig and equipment clean as well as organized. In addition to operating tools such as tongs.This fundamental role involves:• Cleaning and maintaining the equipment and well servicing rig • Using and maintaining hand tools
• Carrying out duties as per the Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) and procedural manual
• Effectively operating tongs to make and break connections
• Effectively assist other members of the crew
• Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must be a team-player with the ability to build good work relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Attentiveness and good listening skills
• Reliable with strong safety values
• Knowledge of rig equipment and safety practices
• Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to maintain resilience and perseverance in the face of challenging situations/extreme weather conditions
• Relevant functional and technical skills
Qualified Candidates Require: • Valid H2S Alive Certification, First Aid Certification and CSO
• Enform Floorhand Competency considered an asset
• Class 5 Driver's License with airbrakes endorsement preferred
• Class 1 or 3 Driver's License considered an asset
