Job Description :

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position’s job responsibilities include :

• Inspect, install, repair, replace, adjust mechanical equipment in the plant.
• Service the mechanical aspects of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic / pneumatic systems.
• Receive instructions, prints, and work orders, covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspection work.
• Determine the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
• Advise when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
• Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage on computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), work orders, logbooks, and checklists.
• Perform rounds and checks machinery condition using checklists or digital tools to identify abnormalities and ensure that machine functions are operating within the normal specifications.
• Responsible for performing assigned maintenance work on large and small producing units.
• Operate power driven mobile equipment and ordinary crane hooking.

Must Have Skills :

• 433A Tickets
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with exposure to Bearings, Pneumatics, Hydraulic, Lubrication, and Rotating Equipment
• Troubleshooting
• PM Experience

Soft Skills

• Ability to determine the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production
• Ability to advise on immediate shutdown of equipment when necessary
• Ability to maintain detailed records and logs

Work Environment

Shift : Continental Rotating (days & nights) 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am.
