In this role, you will champion the strategic vision, deployment, and evolution of our integrated security systems while fostering collaborative partnerships across the organization and with external vendors.

Your ability to tell a compelling story about our security initiatives, navigate complex organizational dynamics, and drive sustainable change will directly contribute to protecting RBC's employees, clients, and assets.

What will you do?

  • Lead the strategic vision, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise physical security technology systems globally across 25+ countries, serving as an advocate for program success across all stakeholder groups

  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and partnerships, including contract oversight, SLA monitoring, and strategic business reviews; position vendor solutions as competitive advantages to internal stakeholders

  • Develop and communicate clear implementation frameworks, driving adoption and alignment across global operations through compelling business cases and executive storytelling

  • Navigate organizational complexity by collaborating with diverse internal stakeholders (Lines of Business, Facilities, IT, Corporate Security, Investigative teams)

  • Champion change management initiatives to facilitate smooth transitions during system implementations, technology upgrades, and process improvements; communicate value and impact to all organizational levels.

  • Manage program metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to demonstrate value, build stakeholder confidence, and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Provide strategic guidance on system enhancements and operational improvements, translating technical capabilities into business benefits

  • Establish data-driven program governance using performance metrics and validated assumptions to protect scope and budget

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years of proven experience leading large-scale, complex multi-country programs or technology initiatives with demonstrated success in standardization and global operations

  • Experience managing programs or projects involving significant technology change, including third-party vendor management

  • Exceptional storytelling and communication abilities; skilled at translating complex initiatives into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences (executives, technical teams, business partners)

  • Ability to understand and communicate investment value, budget implications, and financial metrics to finance and C-suite stakeholders

  • Proven interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate organizational dynamics, and build consensus across competing priorities.

  • Strong change management capabilities with experience successfully driving organizational adoption of new processes, systems, or initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor partnerships and external relationships with strong contract and performance management skills

  • Ability to recognize security vulnerabilities and respond to technology incidents with sound technical judgment

  • Experience translating ambiguous strategic goals into structured plans, execution roadmaps, and measurable outcomes

Nice-to-have

  • Degree/Diploma in business, organizational leadership, computer engineering or related fields.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Certification in Change Management

  • Banking experience

  • Knowledge of networking, and security infrastructure

What’s in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable

  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities

  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact

  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team
