AutoCanada est l’un des principaux groupes de concessionnaires automobiles multimarques et d’exploitants de centres de collision au Canada. Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Directeur(trice) national(e) du développement des affaires stratégique et axé(e) sur les résultats pour diriger les initiatives de croissance à travers notre réseau national de concessionnaires.

Relevant directement du chef de l’exploitation (COO), cette personne sera responsable de définir et de mettre en œuvre une stratégie novatrice visant à stimuler la croissance des revenus, à optimiser les performances et à améliorer le parcours client grâce à l’optimisation de la génération de prospects, à une stratégie CRM efficace, à l’exploitation des canaux numériques et à des pratiques rigoureuses de gestion des prospects.

Ce leader concevra, mettra en œuvre et fera respecter des processus normalisés de gestion des prospects dans l’ensemble de nos concessions et de nos centres de développement des affaires (BDC). Une attention particulière sera accordée à l’intégration pratique dans les salles d’exposition, à la formation continue et à l’accompagnement des performances afin d’assurer une transition fluide des demandes numériques vers des rendez-vous en concession et des ventes conclues.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien?

  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre une stratégie de développement des affaires alignée sur les objectifs de croissance à long terme.
  • Diriger la stratégie complète de gestion des prospects pour l’ensemble des opérations variables, en optimisant la performance des sources OEM, tierces, payantes et organiques.
  • Améliorer les entonnoirs de génération de prospects afin d’augmenter la qualité, le taux de conversion et la rapidité de prise de contact.
  • Assurer un fort alignement entre les équipes Marketing, BDC et Opérations des concessions en matière de processus et d’exécution de la gestion des prospects.
  • Gérer et optimiser la plateforme CRM (CDK), y compris sa structure, ses flux de travail, ses modèles et ses automatisations (téléphone, courriel, SMS).
  • Établir et faire respecter les meilleures pratiques en matière d’utilisation du CRM et de gestion des prospects dans tous les établissements.
  • Assurer la liaison entre les opérations du BDC et celles des salles d’exposition afin de garantir une transition harmonieuse des clients et une exécution cohérente en concession.
  • Fournir un soutien sur place aux concessions afin de renforcer les normes, d’améliorer l’exécution et d’élever l’expérience client.
  • Concevoir et diriger des programmes de formation, de coaching et de gestion de la performance pour les équipes BDC et ventes, y compris des audits et des ateliers.
  • Définir et suivre les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) liés à la génération de prospects, à la conversion, à la conformité CRM et à la performance numérique comparativement aux performances en concession.
  • Créer des tableaux de bord et des rapports offrant une visibilité sur la santé des pipelines de prospects et de ventes.
  • Effectuer des évaluations régulières de la performance avec les dirigeants des concessions et favoriser une amélioration continue fondée sur les données à travers le réseau.

Les qualifications essentielles

  • Minimum de 7 ans d’expérience progressive en leadership dans le secteur de la vente au détail automobile.
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience au sein d’un BDC, en stratégie numérique ou en développement des affaires.
  • Succès démontré dans la direction d’opérations multi-sites ou d’initiatives d’amélioration de la performance au sein d’un groupe de concessionnaires.
  • Expertise approfondie des systèmes CRM (CDK, VinSolutions, Elead) et de la gestion numérique des prospects.
  • Excellente compréhension des opérations BDC, des processus de vente en concession et de l’optimisation du parcours client.
  • Capacité démontrée à transformer une stratégie en exécution concrète et en résultats mesurables.
  • Excellentes compétences en leadership, en coaching, en influence et en gestion des parties prenantes.
  • Approche axée sur les données et solides capacités analytiques.

Position: National Director of Business Development

Your area of focus.

AutoCanada is a leading multi-location automobile dealership group and collision center operator. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven National Director of Business Development to lead the growth initiatives across our national dealership network. This role will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will be responsible for defining and executing a forward-thinking strategy that drives revenue growth, optimizes, and enhances the customer journey, through lead generation optimization, CRM strategy, digital channels, and disciplined lead management practices.

This leader will design, implement, and enforce standardized lead-management processes across our stores and Business Development Centers (BDCs). A focus on hands-on showroom integration, continuous training, and performance coaching to ensure digital inquiries seamlessly transition into physical showroom appointments and closed deals.

What drives your day-to-day?

•Develop and execute the business development strategy aligned with long-term growth objectives

•Lead the end-to-end lead strategy across all variable operations, optimizing performance across OEM, third-party, paid, and organic sources

•Improve lead generation funnels to enhance quality, conversion, and speed-to-contact

•Ensure strong alignment across Marketing, BDC, and Dealership Operations on lead management processes and execution

•Own and optimize the CRM platform (CDK), including structure, workflows, templates, and automation (phone, email, SMS)

•Establish and enforce best-in-class CRM utilization and lead management standards across all locations

•Bridge BDC and showroom operations to ensure seamless customer handoffs and consistent in-store execution

•Provide on-site dealership support to reinforce standards, improve execution, and elevate the customer experience

•Design and lead training, coaching, and performance programs for BDC and sales teams, including audits and workshops

•Define and track KPIs across lead generation, conversion, CRM compliance, and digital vs. in-store performance

•Build dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into lead and sales pipeline health

•Conduct regular performance reviews with store leadership and drive continuous, data-driven improvement across the network

What are the must haves…

•7+ years of progressive leadership experience in automotive retail is required

•3+ years of experience working with a BDC, digital strategy, or business development

•Proven success leading multi-location operations or dealer group performance initiatives

•Deep expertise in CRM systems (CDK, VinSolutions, Elead) and digital lead management

•Strong understanding of BDC operations, dealership sales processes, and customer journey optimization

•Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable results
