Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator, Community Impact to support the delivery of community-focused grant programs. This fully remote role is based in Atlantic Canada, and will provide administrative, operational, and stakeholder support throughout the grant lifecycle, including applicant engagement, grant administration, grantee monitoring, reporting, and program coordination.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for grant applicants, providing guidance throughout the application process
- Provide administrative and logistical support throughout the full grant cycle, including outreach, application intake, review coordination, and program close-out activities
- Coordinate grant review processes, including establishing review committees, scheduling meetings, collecting feedback, and organizing reviewer materials
- Maintain accurate grant documentation, including application records, correspondence, reporting materials, and program files
- Collaborate with program and finance teams to ensure grant data accuracy and adherence to funding requirements
- Coordinate and support virtual and in-person monitoring activities with funded organizations across Canada
- Track grantee progress against deliverables, funding agreements, and reporting requirements, escalating concerns as needed
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Community Impact team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining accurate records
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and administrative tasks related to program expenditures
- Support event planning, coordination, and logistics for community gatherings, convenings, and team activities
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar program coordination, grants administration, nonprofit, community engagement, or administrative role preferred
- Experience supporting grant programs, funding processes, or stakeholder relationships is an asset
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data management
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team
- Proficiency with standard office tools and digital collaboration platforms
