Qualifications and Experience
: Board Certified Behaviour Analysis (BCBA) certification or, Individuals working toward BCBA certification, orIndividuals with equivalent qualifications and two (2) to four (4) years’ experience including post-secondary education (preference will be given to those who hold a university degree) in a related field and previous clinical supervision by a recognized clinician.Assets:Excellent interpersonal skills that will help to build strong relationships with students, educators, and community service partnersExperience working with students in special education and regular classroom settings.A thorough understanding of, and experience with, students with Autism and other behavioural difficultiesAbility to provide training to a wide range of audiences such as students, staff, and other stakeholdersExcellent oral and written communicationStrong organizational skillsExpertise in writing clinical considerations and reportsEffective implementation of policies and procedures with a commitment to advocate for change where neededAbility to interpret and collect data to inform implementation and evaluation of programs and services Willingness to learn new concepts and integrate into practiceProfessional experience in an educational settingDemonstrate skills in innovation, and creativityExcellent problem-solver and leader who possesses initiative Job Requirements: Eligible to work in CanadaValid Ontario Class Driver’s license, use of a vehicle and willingness to work all regions of Bluewater District School Board (Grey Bruce)Clear vulnerable sector police checkApplication Process: Qualified applicants are invited to apply for this position online using Apply to Education (ATE) at https://bwdsb.simplication.com/.
