Job description
Join BGIS as a Fire Alarm Technician, ensuring compliance through code-compliant testing and inspections. Utilize your expertise in fire prevention to liaise with various stakeholders. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will report to the Regional Operations Manager and play a crucial role in risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards. This full-time position includes onsite responsibilities at multiple locations in Ontario, ensuring safety in fire prevention. Your skills in problem-solving and fire safety regulations will be key as you work with stakeholders to implement effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough inspections of fire alarm systems • Propose solutions for fire safety compliance issues • Communicate with facility managers and building occupants • Provide fire safety training to property management teams • Assist in coordinating evacuation plans with clients Requirements: • Completion of Canadian Fire Alarm Association certification • College diploma in Fire Protection or equivalent • Strong communication skills for technical information • Experience in commercial fire alarm systems • Valid driver’s license required Bring your fire alarm expertise to BGIS and make a significant impact on fire life safety. #J-18808-Ljbffr
