Dexter Construction Company is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently looking for Class 1 Float Truck Drivers to join our operations out of St. Johns, NL. These positions will be based out of St. Johns but may involve travel to other parts of the province as the need arises.
The Float Operator is responsible for safe and efficient loading and unloading of heavy equipment from the float to various locations. Hours of work are 12-14hr shifts and may require weekend/overnight work.

Working Conditions:
The Float Operator has a physically strenuous and demanding job. This position requires lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects. This position will require the use of PPE, Hardhat, Steel Toe Boots, and reflective vest to minimize risk on the worksite. The worksite environment for this position is outside in varying weather conditions.
