Job description
Step into a vital role at Nova Scotia Health as a Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing exemplary primary care. This permanent full-time position supports interdisciplinary collaboration across long-term care facilities. Located in the Western Zone, you will primarily serve at North Queens, Rosedale, Hillside Pines, and Ryan Hall while adapting to operational demands. As a Nurse Practitioner, your role involves diagnosing, prescribing, and providing holistic care based on individual patient needs, all while ensuring safety and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct care across long-term care settings • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals • Conduct diagnoses and interpret diagnostic tests • Prescribe treatments and manage pharmaceutical care • Integrate patient and family needs into care plans Requirements: • Advanced Nursing Practice Masters degree • Active NSCN registration as a Nurse Practitioner • Successful completion of certification exams • Current certification in BCLS • Access to reliable vehicle for travel Deliver compassionate, ethical care and elevate health outcomes in the communities served by Nova Scotia Health. #J-18808-Ljbffr
