Lead and champion a healthy and safe work environment by ensuring all safety standards and procedures are followed.
Conduct daily and scheduled review meetings (pre-job mid-job post-job).
Ensure compliance through proper truck inspections and documentation.
Conduct pre-job meetings to review scope of work and identify safety opportunities.
Perform post-job review meetings and final inspections.
Conduct in-person inspections to ensure JHA controls are used and updated.
Lead and participate in regular safety meetings.
Manage the repair process including tooling warranty and inspection findings.
Oversee technician productivity allocate resources and manage job progress.
Conduct mid-job reviews and communicate job changes to technicians.
Qualifications:
2 years experience in leading teams.
Journeyperson in a relevant trade is an asset.
Experience managing in a unionized environment is an asset.
Strong understanding of safety standards and Human Organization Performance safety model.
Financial acumen and strong business understanding.
Understanding of the National Safety Code and contamination control.
Strong understanding of the Caterpillar product line and processes
Travel Requirement- 50%
The Regional Response Supervisor role will provide full operational coverage requiring 50% travel throughout BC for vacation coverage support.
