Job description
emergiTEL is hiring an Intermediate Full Stack Developer for our client in the travel technology industry. This is a Permanent role.
Compensation: $72800 - $91000/year (QC) $85000-$112000 (ON)
Location: Montreal QC (Hybrid) or Toronto ON (Hybrid)
Job Description (English)
  • Design and develop robust scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies working with JavaScript React Python.
  • Collaborate with product managers designers and fellow developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean well-documented and testable code following established standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance across the full stack.
  • Contribute to sprint planning daily stand-ups and other agile ceremonies.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as required by product features.
  • Support the continuous improvement of development processes tools and workflows.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and propose improvements where applicable.
Skills Required:
  • 35 years of experience in full stack development.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React Vue or Angular.
  • Solid back-end experience with Java Python or similar.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL DynamoDB).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platform: AWS
  • Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
  • Experience in travel technology or e-commerce is an asset.
  • Background in finance (understanding of payments and reconciliation) or Data considered an asset

  • Rédiger un code propre bien documenté et testable en respectant les normes et meilleures pratiques.
  • Participer aux revues de code et fournir un retour constructif aux pairs.
  • Diagnostiquer corriger et optimiser les performances des applications sur lensemble du stack.
  • Contribuer à la planification des sprints aux réunions quotidiennes et aux cérémonies agiles.
  • Intégrer des API tierces et des services selon les besoins des fonctionnalités.
  • Contribuer à lamélioration continue des processus outils et flux de développement.
  • Se tenir informé des nouvelles technologies et proposer des améliorations lorsque pertinent.
