Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Project Manager

About Our Client
Our client is sourcing a Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Project Manager for a 24-month contract.

About the Opportunity

• Lead end-to-end implementation of enterprise financial planning solutions (Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar) integrated with SAP.
• Manage project planning, budgeting, execution, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, KPIs, and success criteria.
• Drive process improvements across planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, and reporting.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Oversee testing, data validation, and quality assurance to ensure business requirements are met.
• Provide executive-level project status updates, governance reporting, and project documentation.
• Facilitate user training, change management, and adoption of new financial systems.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of IT project management experience delivering enterprise financial systems implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar financial planning solutions integrated with SAP.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification required.
• Strong knowledge of FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, statutory reporting, and compliance.
• Proven success leading large-scale, global IT projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience driving organizational change management, user training, and solution adoption.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
• Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data for business decision-making.
