Job description
Position SummaryDrivers are responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle in the transportation and placements of building materials on customer job sites. Drivers must also assist with onsite delivery requiring physical labour in all weather conditions. The shifts are Monday - Friday and the wage range is $24 - $32 per hour (Tier 1; $24 - $28 Tier 2; $28 - $32).Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver materials to the assigned area as directed by the personal safety and the safety of those around professionally with customers co-workers and trades on contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they trucks for reloading and assist warehouse staff as load security and as an ambassador of the company with all employees and all regulations company policies and Requirements:Valid Class 1 or 3 drivers license with clean drivers Forklift certification is a written and oral communication of basic hand tool of high school RequirementsAbility to lift and carry up to for long periods of climbing up and down pushing bending and twisting movements to transfer building materials between truck and job benefits - including drugs practitioner dental vision disability and life savings (pension or other) are - Company discounts (mobile phone etc.) training programs and opportunities for career advancement group events and you feel we are a good fit for your career goals and skillset we invite you to apply and look forward to reviewing your part of the GMS Inc. family of companies you can launch your career with a North American building materials distributor and discover opportunities for growth and value our team members and believe them to be our greatest assets.
