Job description
emergiTEL is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer for our client in the travel technology industry. This is a Permanent role.
Compensation: $124000 - $155000/year (QC) or $140000-$178000(ON)
Location: Montreal QC (Hybrid) or Toronto ON (50% in office)
Job Description (English)
  • Lead the architecture design and development of full stack solutions across the core platform.
  • Act as a technical leader mentoring junior and intermediate developers through code reviews and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with product managers architects and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and delivery plans.
  • Drive best practices in code quality testing performance and security.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of complex features from discovery through production deployment.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies frameworks and tools to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Integrate third-party APIs travel distribution systems and external services.
  • Contribute to sprint planning technical roadmaps and architectural reviews.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
  • Partner with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable cloud-native delivery.
Requirements
  • 8 years of full stack development experience.
  • Strong expertise in front-end frameworks such as React Vue or Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid back-end experience with Java Python or Go.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture design patterns and system design.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs GraphQL and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS andcontainerization (Docker Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Glue and Spark
  • Ideally from a travel background-experience in travel technology or airline systems is considered an asset.
  • Background in finance (understanding of payments and reconciliation) or Data considered an asset
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • Identifier et résoudre les problèmes de performance et de scalabilité.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes DevOps et infrastructure pour assurer une livraison fiable dans un environnement cloud natif.
Exigences
  • Minimum de 8 ans dexpérience en développement full stack.
  • Maîtrise des frameworks front-end tels que React Vue ou Angular ainsi que JavaScript/TypeScript moderne.
  • Expérience avancée en back-end avec Java Python ou Go.
  • Compréhension approfondie de larchitecture logicielle et des modèles de conception.
  • Expérience avec les API REST GraphQL et les architectures microservices.
  • Expérience pratique avec les plateformes cloud (AWS GCP ou Azure) et la conteneurisation (Docker Kubernetes).
  • Maîtrise des pipelines CI/CD et des pratiques DevOps.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication et en leadership.
  • Une expérience dans le domaine des technologies de voyage ou des systèmes aériens est un atout.
  • Diplôme en informatique ou expérience équivalente.
