Job description
Taggart Construction Limited is seeking a Construction Superintendent to guide multiple projects in Ottawa. Focus on compliance, schedule management, and crew oversight for successful outcomes. This pivotal role requires a seasoned superintendent with at least five years of experience in heavy civil construction. You will collaborate closely with the General Superintendent and other team leaders to implement effective construction methodologies and manage subcontractors. Your leadership will ensure that all facets of construction projects align with company standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: • Develop construction schedules and manage project timelines • Oversee subcontractors and enforce safety regulations • Review project specifications and conduct thorough inspections • Lead weekly meetings to track progress and challenges • Monitor site productivity and adjust workforce as needed Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of superintendent experience in construction • Relevant post-secondary education in Civil Engineering • Comprehensive knowledge of construction plans • Strong leadership and communication abilities • Valid driver's license required Ensure project excellence and safety through your leadership at Taggart Construction as a Construction Superintendent. #J-18808-Ljbffr
