Job description
Take the lead as a Senior Java Backend Architect in Canada with Caribbean's Digital Banking IT Group. Design and develop robust backend services and APIs that enhance digital banking applications. In this essential role, you will mentor development teams and establish best practices for backend architecture. Your hands-on experience with Java, cloud-native solutions, and microservices will be crucial as you tackle complex projects. Collaboration with architects and infrastructure teams will ensure high-quality implementations aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee technical design reviews for backend systems • Develop and maintain high-performance Java microservices • Enforce coding standards across development teams • Participate in vendor technology evaluations • Drive DevOps initiatives and cloud transformations Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering or equivalent • Minimum 10 years of Java development expertise • Strong grasp of API-first design and cloud-native architecture • Proven leadership skills in Agile team environments • A background in the banking sector is a plus Utilize your skills in Java and cloud technologies to lead the transformation of digital banking solutions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
