  • Establish and manage the annual maintenance budget, ensuring cost control, forecasting accuracy, and alignment with business goals.
  • Monitor equipment uptime, downtime, and reliability data; develop action plans to improve asset performance and availability.
  • Coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling to minimize production disruption.

Process Improvement & Reliability

  • Lead the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean Manufacturing, and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
  • Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes, equipment performance, and overall plant efficiency.

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, support training and skill development, and address performance issues as required.
  • Foster strong collaboration with Production, Engineering, and other departments to align maintenance priorities with operational objectives.

Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, contractor safety, and risk assessments.
  • Lead incident and accident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure maintenance activities support quality and environmental standards (e.g., IATF, ISO 14001).

Budget, Inventory & Vendor Management

  • Manage maintenance spending, spare parts inventory, and service contracts to support reliable operations and cost efficiency.
  • Work with vendors, contractors, and OEMs to support maintenance activities and improvement initiatives.

Reporting & Communication

  • Track and report maintenance KPIs, budget performance, and improvement progress to leadership.
  • Communicate maintenance plans, priorities, and risks effectively across the organization.

Other Duties

  • Strong knowledge of robotic systems, mechanical and electrical equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Proven experience in budget management and strategic planning.
