Job description
Join Clutch as VP and General Counsel, leading a critical legal function while engaging with top executives. Manage legal strategies in a dynamic Toronto-based role. In this pivotal position, you will oversee Clutch’s legal operations and ensure compliance with various regulations. The role encompasses commercial contracts, risk management, and collaborative governance across departments. You’ll thrive in this hands-on environment by building effective legal processes while providing valuable strategic insights. Key Responsibilities: • Act as the principal legal advisor to the executive team • Draft and negotiate key business contracts • Ensure compliance with consumer laws and advertising standards • Oversee automotive regulatory compliance and training • Create scalable legal processes and training programs Requirements: • JD, LLB, or similar law degree required • At least 15 years of relevant legal expertise • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating contracts • Capability to work in a fast-paced, evolving setting • In-office requirement at Toronto or Mississauga Drive Clutch’s legal function forward, influencing key business strategies while supporting rapid growth and compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
