Job description
Be a key player at Ausenco as the Director of Quality for North America. This role is pivotal in driving quality compliance and improvement in the mining sector through ISO standards and project oversight. As the Director of Quality, you will craft and oversee the Quality Management strategies throughout project life cycles, ensuring alignment with both internal and external quality benchmarks. This hands-on leadership position welcomes an individual with extensive experience in mining, project management, and quality governance frameworks, eager to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive quality strategies • Maintain regional compliance with quality standards • Lead quality assurance assessments and process improvements • Interface with engineering and project leads for optimal execution • Manage internal audit programs and ensure quality metrics are met Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field • Over 15 years of progressive quality management expertise • Deep understanding of mining and mineral delivery models • Proven ability to lead in complex organizational structures • Quality certifications such as CQE or CMQ/OE are assets Lead quality initiatives and establish excellence across Ausenco’s North American mining projects. #J-18808-Ljbffr
