Job description
Join GHD as a Senior Tax Manager, leading vital tax compliance and advisory initiatives focused on Canadian corporate tax. This hybrid role ensures impactful contributions within the Americas Tax Team. In this position, you will facilitate compliance with Canadian tax legislation, oversee tax accounting responsibilities, and provide strategic advice on cross-border tax matters. Your role is critical in assessing risks and building a robust tax governance framework to support GHD's operational goals and compliance mandates. Key Responsibilities: • Review corporate tax provisions following IAS 12 requirements • Manage compliance processes and audit-ready workpapers • Conduct impact research on emerging tax legislation • Engage with business units on strategic tax implications • Champion intelligent automation solutions in tax processes Requirements: • Requires CPA designation and degree in accounting • At least 8 years of tax experience in a multinational setting • Strong Canadian corporate tax compliance knowledge • Capable of managing projects with autonomy • Proven Excel proficiency and ability to enhance skills Leverage your tax expertise at GHD to contribute toward building a high-performance team focused on excellence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
