:An introduction to tissue and cell morphology, biochemistry of the cell and physiological concepts including diffusion, osmosis and membrane transport mechanisms. PhD degree in health sciences, biology, physiology or biochemistry, or MD degree and prior experience (past three years) in teaching physiology (or anatomy and physiology) to large classes (over 50 students) of undergraduate students (first year). Recent prior experience (past three years) in teaching the cellular physiology of excitable cells would be an asset. Priority will be given to applicants with experience in course web site administration using Brightspace.
