Procurement & Contract Specialist to join our client's Administration Office in London, Ontario. This role serves as a key resource supporting procurement operations, vendor management activities, and contract administration. You will play an important role in ensuring procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contracts align with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:- Manage and facilitate procurement activities, including negotiating, evaluating, and reviewing vendor contracts in alignment with the organization's Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policy.
- Support contract owners in establishing and maintaining effective vendor relationships through vendor onboarding and ongoing communication.
- Provide guidance and coaching to staff regarding procurement practices and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Develop, maintain, and update Vendor and Procurement Management Guidelines and Procedures.
- Assist contract owners with the development, implementation, and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Build collaborative relationships across business units to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Manage vendor review processes for material contracts to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
- Coach and advise contract owners on contract review requirements, including performance, risk, and sustainability assessments.
- Support the Manager, Procurement & Vendor Management with contract review facilitation and vendor management initiatives.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and databases of contracts and vendor documentation.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly reports to key stakeholders.
- Provide support for additional Corporate Services functions, including vendor management training, supply management, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, Risk Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in procurement, vendor management, contract administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management principles and best practices.
- Experience reviewing, assessing, and managing contracts.
- Smartsheet certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first 12 months.
- Professional designation such as Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) is considered an asset.
- Legal experience related to contract review and assessment is preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
