Junior Accountant / Accounting Analyst

The Junior Accountant / Accounting Analyst will support various accounting and financial reporting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end close, and operational accounting processes. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, and possess the initiative to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
This position offers significant learning and development opportunities, with exposure to complex accounting transactions, large ERP environments, and cross-functional business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with account reconciliations and financial reporting requirements
- Analyze accounting data and identify discrepancies or process improvement opportunities
- Prepare reports and ad hoc analysis using Excel and ERP systems
- Collaborate with operational and non-financial stakeholders to resolve accounting issues
- Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
- Exposure to Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable functions
- Experience working with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Infor
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables (subject to testing)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
