What you will do

Performs system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. Solves problems and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems. Responds to basic warranty calls.

How you will do it

  • Loads system-level controller software. Performs basic commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e., sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentation

  • Keeps management and customers informed of job progress and issues

  • Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment

  • Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation

  • Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation

  • Communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site

  • Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. A high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety.

What we look for

  • Vocational School program graduate or an associate's degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.

  • Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.

  • Possesses the ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.

  • Demonstrate effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications.

  • Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24.85 - $31.25 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
