Senior Mainframe Software Engineer - z/OS and HLASM

We are seeking a Lead z/OS Developer to join a world-class team owning a core cryptographic engine. In this high-impact, hands-on role, you will drive the development, packaging, and security of a cross-platform C/C++ library ported to IBM z/OS. You will write substantial code, lead feature designs, and engage directly with clients' systems programmers on security integrations. Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end design and write production-ready, portable C/C++ and HLASM code.
Own the IBM z/OS port, build strategy (JCL, SMP/E), and modern VS Code toolchains.
Resolve complex customer escalations regarding mainframe integrations, SAF/RACF/ACF2, and TLS.
Mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of z/OS development experience.
Core Skills: Expert HLASM assembly, JCL, and z/Architecture (31/64-bit).
Languages: Strong portable C/C++ systems programming.
Plusses: Background in cryptography, HSM integration (PKCS#11), Java SDKs, or HPE NonStop.
