Job description
Shape the energy landscape with Hydrostor as the Director of Project Development. This hybrid role focuses on utility-scale projects, merging strategic vision with community engagement. Based in Toronto, you will lead project development from concept to financial closure, emphasizing environmental and regulatory compliance. Engage collaboratively with First Nations and stakeholders as you navigate complex project landscapes. Key Responsibilities: • Drive utility-scale energy storage initiatives • Define comprehensive project development strategies • Manage municipal, provincial, and federal permitting • Foster strategic relationships with stakeholders • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success Requirements: • 10–15+ years in project development and leadership • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant disciplines • Deep knowledge of Ontario’s environmental laws • Experience engaging Indigenous communities effectively • Excellent stakeholder engagement and project oversight skills Utilize your extensive experience in energy project development to create a sustainable future with Hydrostor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
