ROLE &RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handleparts requirements of customers through counter service and sales;
- Preparedetailed invoices and customer statements;
- Supplyingparts quotes and sales to service, internal, retail, and wholesale clients;
- Assistwith shipping as necessary;
- Supplyservice technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms;
- Answerphone calls on an ongoing basis;
- Maintainthe inventory and cleanliness of the Parts Department;
- Verifyreceiving shipments by checking order against the packing list;
- Assistin keeping parts clean and shelf section area stocked and orderly;
- Follow-upon shortages and expedite through reporting to Parts Manager;
- Ensureaccuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures;
- Workin partnership with department managers and employees to maximize store salesand in-store presence;
- Whennecessary, help in the delivery of parts to clients;
- PersonalProtective Equipment (safety glasses and safety shoes) to be worn at all timeswhen necessary;
- Performsother duties as required
KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of PBS is considered anasset
- Minimum 2-year telephone-basedcustomer service experience.
- Possess exceptionally strongtelephone communications skills.
- To be a dealership/brand advocatepromoting extraordinary customer service.
- Must be detail-oriented, thorough,and able to work independently.
- Is knowledgeable about dealershipoperations.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- The desire for continuousprofessional growth and improvement.
- Problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively andcongenially with others in the department and the dealership.
- Ability and aptitude to establishrapport with customers over the telephone.
