Role SummaryThe Project Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager and VDC Team to support the successful execution of projects. This role provides technical and administrative assistance to ensure projects move forward efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Modern Niagara standards. This role will be primarily working with the project VDC team.

Key Impact / Purpose
- Support project delivery by managing documentation, schedules, and communication.
- Strengthen collaboration between project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in reviews and process enhancements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage TSSA applications, submissions, registrations, and compliance tracking for all applicable hydronic systems and equipment
- Maintain and update hydronic submittal logs, shop drawing status trackers, equipment release logs, and procurement status reports
- Coordinate design review meetings between the site foreperson, consultants, BIM team, and internal project team to resolve constructability and installation concerns prior to fabrication and installation
- Track consultant review timelines and follow up on outstanding shop drawing approvals, RFIs, and design clarifications
- Support fabrication coordination by tracking equipment release status, vendor production schedules, delivery dates, and expediting critical equipment
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all required documentation, including O&M manuals, test certificates, and compliance documents, are received and distributed
- Assist site teams with installation readiness by ensuring latest approved drawings, submittals, and design revisions are issued and communicated to field staff
- Track field issues, deficiencies, and coordination items and ensure timely resolution with consultants, vendors, and internal teams
- Coordinate weekly hydronic coordination meetings and maintain action item logs, meeting minutes, and follow-up tracking
- Monitor installation progress and maintain system-based tracking for hydronic piping, equipment, and turnover activities
- Coordinate delivery schedules, site logistics, and material/equipment staging with site supervision and vendors
- Support commissioning and closeout activities including turnover documentation, deficiency tracking, and final compliance submissions
- Maintain organized project documentation and ensure all hydronic package records are current, traceable, and aligned with project requirements
- Perform additional related duties as required under the direction of the hiring manager.
Must-haves:
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with project/construction management software.
- Exposure to project financial management.
- Experience with Revit, Navisworks, and ACC.
This is a new position. Expected annual compensation; $50,000 - $65,000
