About the Role
The Material Planner I at Sierra Space plays a crucial role in ensuring that materials required for production are available at the right time and in the right quantity. This entry-level position requires a blend of analytical skills, knowledge of inventory management practices, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. They work closely with various teams to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing process.About You

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
Typically entry-level position with 0 - 2 years of experience.
Exposure to Purchasing Best Practices & Lean Manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in Excel & ERP/MRP systems for data analysis, reporting, and decision support.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification: APICS.
Experience using SQL, Python, R, MS Project, PowerBI, Tableau.
Experience with SAP.
Compensation:
Pay Range:
$60,773.00 - $83,561.75Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
