Job description

Infasco Nut is a fully blended and vertically integrated North American and Global automotive supplier of engineered fasteners. Infasco Nut, a Mississauga automotive company, is looking for a Material Handler / Wash Operator.

Salary: $30.31/hour

Work Schedule: Rotating 3-shift operation (Days, Afternoons, Nights) – 40 hours per week

  • Afternoon Shift Premium: $1.15/hour
  • Night Shift Premium: $1.35/hour

We are looking for candidates available to work a rotating schedule, with two weeks on each shift.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate the parts washing equipment.
  • Perform daily soap concentration testing.
  • Oversee the start-up skimming process.
  • Complete and maintain daily wash logs.
  • Handle and transport materials throughout the plant floor.
  • Prepare and stage materials for manufacturing orders.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper material identification.
  • Work closely with Production and Shipping teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Support daily warehouse and manufacturing operations while following all safety procedures.


Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve discrepancies related to inventory and materials independently.
  • Valid forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail when handling inventory and shipments.
  • Experience maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures related to material handling, packing, and shipping.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is considered an asset.
