ARE WE COMPATIBLE? A LITTLE ABOUT US

At Vitalis, we pride ourselves on reimagining solutions that encompass both performance and sustainability. We are driven by the belief that people, planet and profits are not mutually exclusive, and we can have positive impact in each without sacrificing the other. We believe the key to our success is not only defined by what we produce but who we are as an organization and how we work together. We are committed to curiosity, innovation, passion for environmental sustainability and applying those principles wholistically throughout our day-to-day work. And finally, we believe in being nice people; people that other’s pride themselves in knowing and working with. People who genuinely care about each other and the world around them.

Does the idea of working with us light a spark of excitement within you? Read on.

  • Perform loop checks and functional testing of electrical systems, instrumentation, sensors, actuators, control hardware, and communication networks to verify proper installation and operation.
  • Identify, document, and report non‑conformances, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement, supporting the ECO and NCR processes as required.
  • Provide technical feedback to the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Electrical departments to improve product quality, manufacturability, serviceability, and future product designs.
  • Complete and maintain all required FAT documentation, inspection records, test reports, and quality tracking documents related to electrical and controls testing.
  • Configure, parameterize, and validate controllers, HMIs, instrumentation, sensors, transmitters, VFDs, and other programmable devices required for factory testing.
  • Verify proper operation of control sequences, interlocks, alarms, safety devices, and overall system functionality against project requirements and design intent.
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings, electrical schematics, specifications, applicable electrical standards (CSA, UL, NEC, CEC), and internal quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with customers and Account Managers to resolve electrical and controls issues identified during factory testing that may impact FAT acceptance or project delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience working at an OEM is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to support and assist in the growth and development of the company.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly evolving and growing environment where responsibilities and position scope may change.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written and a desire to collaborate in a team environment.
