Job description
Transform your career as an actuarial Co-op focusing on the ALM Team at Foresters Financial. This position offers hands-on analytical support in both asset and liability management while working hybrid in Toronto. As a part of this 8-month program, you will collaborate across teams to enhance ALM processes and improve risk assessment. Gain exposure to critical actuarial disciplines, engage in financial modeling, and participate in the preparation of important reports like the Appointed Actuary Report. Key Responsibilities: • Support ALM and risk assessment initiatives • Improve governance and risk management models • Work with diverse teams including Pricing and Finance • Aid in the enhancement of ALM reporting • Assist in preparing the annual Appointed Actuary Report Requirements: • Undergraduate actuarial student actively taking exams • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities • Knowledge of GGY Axis and Excel application • Familiarity with Hyperion and Power BI is a bonus Boost your actuarial potential with a challenging role at Foresters Financial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
