We are seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Manager to lead and mentor a sales team focused on expanding Align Technology’s footprint across the Canadian market. This combines hands-on sales leadership, consultative customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive adoption of Invisalign and iTero solutions- the Align Digital Platform. The ideal candidate is agile, strategic, data-driven, and committed to coaching teams toward exceptional performance and delivering outstanding customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a driven regional sales leader of a multidisciplinary team who blends strategic sales savvy with hands-on hustle to help Orthodontists and Dentists to modernize, grow their practices, and wow patients using Algin’s cutting-edge digital solutions.

Role expectations

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a field sales team—including Sales Representatives ( ie. Invisalitn Territory Manager and Digital Platform Territory Managers) as well as clinical sales support (i.e. Integration Specialists) to exceed regional performance goals.
  • Develop strategic sales plans, targets, and execution tactics; proactively identify and eliminate barriers to success to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Coach and evaluate team performance via co-travel sessions, analytics, and regular feedback to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and territory optimization.
  • Champion consultative selling practices, both in-person and virtually, using industry insights and consumer behavior trends to help customers grow their businesses with Align’s digital solutions.
  • Ensure clinical readiness by guiding teams in educating customers on Invisalign and iTero products, fostering confidence and adoption in dental practices.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication between internal departments and dental practice staff to deliver tailored solutions based on detailed business needs.
  • Orchestrate internal resources—education, marketing, product specialists, and more—to provide seamless customer experiences and drive product integration.
  • Champion corporate policies and compliance across HR, finance, safety, and regulatory standards; serve as a cultural ambassador for integrity and accountability.
  • Utilize data collection and analysis to inform strategy, measure effectiveness, and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
  • Drive proactive team initiatives with urgency, creativity, and disciplined execution that align with company objectives.
  • Lead special projects or additional duties as assigned to support broader business goals.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional field sales experience with Align Technology, or 3+ years of sales leadership in B2B—preferably in healthcare capital equipment, medical devices, or dental, professional channel sales.
  • Proven record of leading high-performing sales teams to exceed targets.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams with strategic planning and performance development focus.
  • Skilled at motivating and coaching team members through feedback, data analysis, and co-travel evaluations.
  • Strong grasp of business fundamentals with ability to lead ROI, cash flow, and P&L discussions.
  • Ability to design and execute strategic sales plans aligned with market and company objectives.
  • Comfortable with clinical discussions related to Invisalign and iTero.
  • Experience tailoring multi-product solutions to meet unique customer needs.
  • Quick to grasp and apply clinical and technical product information.
  • Skilled at building lasting relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Focused on providing an excellent customer experience and handling inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Able to adapt to change and operate with urgency, accountability, and strong organizational skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills; effective presenter across diverse audiences required. bilingual French/English required for Quebec-based roles.
  • Proven collaborator across functions and external partners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada and able to travel occasionally to the United States.
  • Regular and frequent travel within assigned geographic territory, including occasional weekend, evening and overnight travel to accommodate customer in market events.

Pay Transparency

If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically. For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
