Job description
Drive project success at Aecon as a Senior Subcontracts Manager. Your focus will be on procurement methodologies that enhance efficiency and profitability on construction projects. In this role, you will directly report to the Sr. Procurement and Subcontract Manager and be responsible for overseeing all subcontract administration processes. With 10-15 years of experience and a background in construction law, you will ensure compliance, provide training, and manage commercial dealings effectively. Your leadership will extend to developing training plans for team members. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure adherence to subcontracting policies and methodologies • Conduct audits and compliance checks regularly • Offer training sessions on procurement practices • Handle legal claims and disputes adeptly • Oversee development of project-specific procurement strategies Requirements: • Degree in Legal, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying preferred • Extensive experience in large-scale contracting • Familiarity with construction law and practical applications • Skilled in Microsoft Office and SAP systems • Excellent negotiation skills and decision-making abilities Elevate Aecon's subcontract management processes while fostering an inclusive work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
