We’re seeking someone to join our team as an eDiscovery Case Lead to lead complex investigations and drive end-to-end ownership of high-risk litigation, regulatory, and internal investigative matters within Insider Risk Management.In the Technology division, we leverage innovation to build the connections and capabilities that power our Firm, enabling our clients and colleagues to redefine markets and shape the future of our communities. This is a Lead Cybersecurity Engineering position at Director level, which is part of the job family responsible for providing specialist cyber expertise and creating solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role:Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutionsLead end-to-end management of complex eDiscovery cases, ensuring requests are clearly defined, tracked, and delivered accuratelyOversee defensible data collection, processing, and delivery across litigation, regulatory, and internal investigationsAnticipate and resolve data challenges across diverse systems, platforms, and communication channelsManage prioritization and throughput of deliverables within the eDiscovery collections queuePartner closely with Legal, Compliance, HR, Corporate Security, and Cybersecurity stakeholdersEnsure adherence to governance, risk, and compliance standards across the eDiscovery lifecycleDrive operational excellence through process improvement, standardization, and workflow optimization initiativesChampion adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and data insightsMentor team members and foster collaboration across global, matrixed teamsWhat you'll bring to the role:Ability to effectively manage multiple functions and initiativesDemonstrated expertise in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) with hands-on lifecycle management experienceProven ability to manage complex, high-sensitivity investigations in regulatory, litigation, or corporate environmentsExperience partnering with Legal, Compliance, Corporate Security, or HR stakeholders on investigative mattersStrong working knowledge of enterprise eDiscovery and e-communications tools (Microsoft M365) including defensible data collection and analysisExcellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent prioritiesStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detailEffective verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level reportingAbility to operate independently and collaboratively within a global, matrixed organizationHigh level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential informationAt least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this roleAll our positions are located in Montreal, Quebec.
