At Stage, we believe in creating a workplace rooted in safety, respect, collaboration, and continuous growth—with a little fun along the way!
Position Summary:
In this full-time, on-site role, the Quality Assurance Assistant supports quality assurance and control activities across the facility. This includes inspections, audits, floor engagement, documentation, issue identification and resolution, SOP development and updates, training support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent product and process quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall quality assurance activities on the production floor to ensure products meet required specifications and quality standards across all stages of manufacturing.
  • Check production lines at various stages to ensure adherence to product specifications and proper documentation.
  • Conduct floor rounds to monitor processes, engage with line employees and supervisors, and identify any real-time quality or process issues.
  • Record and analyze defects; determine root causes through investigation and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Respond to quality-related inquiries from supervisors, the Quality Assurance Manager, and the Customer Technical & Quality Support Manager.
  • Evaluate and follow through on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and track their effectiveness.
  • Guide production staff on process improvements and support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Educate and train operators on SOPs and quality standards, including updates and changes.
  • Develop, update, and maintain SOPs and quality standards, including preparation and implementation of revisions.
  • Conduct SOP audits, including execution, reporting, and follow-up actions.
  • Visit dealers, installers, and homeowners to observe, document, and report quality-related issues.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Conduct and document various tests on random finished product samples to confirm compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including inspection logs, non-conformance reports, and audit documentation.
  • Work with suppliers on quality-related concerns, including non-conformances, incoming inspection issues, and resolution tracking.
  • Ensure complete understanding of products, quality standards, inspection protocols, and issue resolution workflows.
  • Collect, compile, and process KPI data to support quality performance tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all health and safety standards and protocols while performing job duties.
  • Participate in internal audits and assist in preparing for external audits or customer visits.
  • Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across processes and product quality.
  • Stay informed about product changes, regulatory standards, and internal requirements relevant to the role.
  • Support additional quality-related duties, initiatives, or cross-functional tasks as assigned by management.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, manufacturing, production, or a similar industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes, SOPs, inspections, and audit procedures.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and engage production employees and supervisors.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and process gaps.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a proactive, hands-on approach on the production floor.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining safety and quality standards.
