What You Will Do

• Strong coding skills for application level programming which would involve programming in C++ and C#
• System‑level programming which would involve interacting directly with the operating system and low‑level components like file systems, device drivers, and kernel subsystems using system APIs and other mechanisms like reading virtual file system.
• Core Concepts: In-depth knowledge of Linux virtual file system like sysfs, devfs, procfs and daemons.
• Shell and Commands:
• Proficient in bash, cli, and general shell scripting.
• Familiarity with essential Linux commands: grep, chmod, rm, cp, mv, less, sudo, ps, service, etc.
• C++ Expertise: Proficient in C++14 to C++17 and development on C++
• Multithreading:
• Demonstrated expertise in various ways of declaring threads
• Understanding of thread synchronization mechanisms.
• Object‑Oriented Concepts:
• Strong understanding of inheritance, has‑a, and is‑a relationships using classes.
• Knowledge of association, aggregation, and composition achieved through inheritance.
• Design Patterns and Interface: Familiarity with design patterns and interface concepts.
• Inter‑Process Communication (IPC): Knowledge of IPC, shared memory, and socket programming.
• Data Structures: Solid understanding of data structures.
• Proficient in using Git for version control, with hands‑on experience in tools like Gerrit and GitHub, and good understanding of git commands.
• Proficient in using library like curl, openssl, programming using REST API.

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of experience in modern C++ software development.
• Experience working in Scrum and/or SAFe environments, including story grooming, EPIC refinement, and user story creation.
• Strong understanding of JIRA and Git‑based development workflows, and SDLC with commercial software.
• Ability to effectively leverage agentic AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining ownership and validation of outputs.
• Working knowledge of Java, Go, Python, and PowerShell is preferred.
• Experience with test automation is preferred.
• Proactive, self‑driven, and highly detail‑oriented.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to actively participate in technical discussions and team collaboration.
• Team‑oriented individual who works well with others and is comfortable speaking up, asking questions, and sharing ideas.

Pay Range

$90,000 - $100,000/annum. Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job‑related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on‑site position located in Vancouver, Canada. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
