Job description

This is a newly created, high impact leadership role overseeing three critical finance functions on a national scale. If you are a senior finance professional with a strong technical foundation and a track record of leading teams in a complex, multi-office environment this is worth a conversation.

Principal tasks and responsibilities

  • Overseeing compliance, reconciliations, and reporting across client trust accounts in line with regulatory and internal policy requirements
    Superviser la conformité, les rapprochements et les rapports des comptes en fiducie des clients conformément aux exigences réglementaires et aux politiques internes
  • Managing daily cash flow, banking relationships, liquidity, and acting as a signing officer on operational accounts

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for trust fund administration and reporting

  • Overseeing cash forecasting, debt management, and administration of banking platforms and corporate credit programs

  • Leading the accounts payable function across multiple offices, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments

  • Driving process improvements, automation opportunities, and internal controls across all three functions

  • Building, mentoring, and developing a high performing finance team

  • Preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership and management committees

Qualifications and prerequisites

  • CPA designation or equivalent
    TPA ou équivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 in a supervisory or management role
    Minimum 10 ans d'expérience dont au moins 5 ans dans un rôle de supervision ou de gestion
  • Background in a regulated, compliance driven environment
    Expérience dans un environnement réglementé axé sur la conformité
  • Experience with financial management systems and automation tools

  • Advanced Excel skills required
    Maîtrise avancée d'Excel requise
  • Bilingual in French and English, this is a firm requirement

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proven ability to lead teams in a national, multi-office environment
