Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Forklift Operator for a contract opportunity in Richmond Hill, ON within a logistics, shipping, receiving, and warehouse environment supporting the electronics, components, and semiconductor manufacturing sector.
This role is ideal for someone with 3 to 5 years of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift operation experience who enjoys staying active, coordinating with multiple departments, and keeping inbound and outbound shipments moving smoothly. You will work as part of a collaborative team where communication, organization, safety, and service are essential to daily success.
This opportunity offers a steady warehouse environment, supportive team interaction, and the chance to contribute to efficient site operations while using both hands-on warehouse skills and basic office technology such as Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, sorting, and warehouse activities across multiple site departments.
- Receive courier shipments and pallet deliveries, then deliver materials to appropriate onsite locations.
- Manually handle boxes up to 50 lbs for approximately 1 to 2 hours per day.
- Send daily shipment-related emails to internal and external customers.
- Respond to customer and peer inquiries related to inbound shipments in a professional and timely manner.
- Use Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel templates to support daily warehouse communication and documentation.

- Pay rate: $21 per hour.
