Position Summary

:

This takes a closer look at supporting early reading development in elementary contexts with consideration of with reading difficulties and/or disabilities. Within an asset-oriented, multiliteracies approach, teacher candidates will be invited to focus on areas where they most want to deepen their own understandings of literacy instruction in order to strengthen their practices in inclusive and responsive ways.

Qualifications – Required: Master’s degree in Education; Bachelor of Education and/or K – 12 Teaching Certification; K-6 Ontario teaching experience with expertise supporting students with reading disabilities
