Well, Executive Aviation is looking for a full-time GSE Apprentice to work on our Ground Support Equipment, based at the Halifax Airport.
This person would enjoy working independently but reporting to the GSE Technician on site.
They would coordinate and complete all PMI objectives as well as prioritizing, diagnosing, and fixing GSE or vehicle repairs for the YHZ base, or other bases as needed.
This person would be expected to travel for PMI or maintenance repairs to bases in our network and have on-call responsibilities.
Follows prescribed safety procedures including the use of safety clothing and equipment Diagnose equipment problems and determine repair needs; determine priority repairs with guidance from the lead hand On call responsibilities Legally able to travel outside of the country, if needed Qualifications Completed coursework for 310s or 310t Mechanic On call availability Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push and pull for extended periods of time A physical ability to consistently lift up to 70lbs/32kgs Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather An ability to meet all conditions of employment: Restricted Area pass issued by Transport Canada A criminal background check Hold a valid driver’s license Powered by JazzHR
