ABL Employment is currently hiring a Loader/Forklift Operator for our client in the steel manufacturing industry. We’re looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse/yard environment.
Location: Woodbridge, ON (Steeles/Islington)
Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Responsibilities:
Build and assemble bundles according to customer order specifications.
Prepare and organize orders for efficient truck loading.
Load and unload trucks safely using a forklift.
Organize materials in the yard to maximize space and improve workflow.
Ensure orders are accurate and ready for shipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience is required.
Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or yard operations is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Experience strapping materials and preparing shipments is considered an asset.
