Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused District Store Team Leader to lead and support our New Minas and Yarmouth store teams. This role is ideal for a leader who is passionate about developing people, strengthening store operations, driving business results, and building high-performing teams. The successful candidate brings strong leadership capability, a collaborative approach, and a genuine commitment to coaching and supporting others. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead with accountability and positivity, and understand how to balance people development with operational and sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of retail store operations to protect and maximize sales results.
• Develop and execute annual and quarterly business plans to facilitate KPI goal achievement.
• Perform annual performance appraisals of all staff. Additionally, provide ongoing feedback, coaching, mentoring, and accountability for employees.
• Support the recruiting, hiring, and orientation processes for assigned stores.
• Equitably allocate time among assigned stores.
• Create and foster a respectful and supportive environment for employees and clients.
• Proactively seek and support ongoing learning opportunities for yourself and employees.
• Work effectively as a team, use and learn from each other's knowledge and support your co-workers.
• Demonstrate our company culture and values.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Core Competencies

• Post‑secondary education considered an asset.
• Hair, Esthetic, or other industry license is a plus.
• 3+ years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Leadership qualities that inspire, motivate, and positively influence team members.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to effectively manage competing priorities.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change with professionalism, resilience, and sound judgment.
• Commitment to continuous learning, development, and team education.

Job Type

Full‑Time position, 40 hours per week.

Schedule / Store Hours

Must be available to work weekdays & weekends as needed.

New Minas Store Hours: Monday‑Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; Saturday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm; Sunday 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Yarmouth Store Hours: Monday‑Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; Saturday 8:30 am – 1:00 pm; Sunday Closed.

Compensation
