Role Purpose:
The Production Administrator provides administrative support to the Production team by preparing and maintaining production documentation, coordinating paperwork and labels, supporting quality and scheduling requirements, and ensuring accurate production records and payroll information are maintained.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Deliver on-demand product samples to Quality Control (QC) for leak testing, texture testing, and other required evaluations.
· Prepare and maintain the daily downtime tracking spreadsheets for all running production jobs and verify information across shifts.
· Print and distribute daily production documents, including packaging instructions, housekeeping documents, sanitization records, waste tags, and weekly line monitoring sheets.
· Print additional documents, forms, and labels as required during production runs.
· Organize and print weekly production schedules provided by the scheduler.
· Prepare and print all documentation required for Monday start-up activities each Friday.
· Sort, organize, and compile completed production documentation as required.
· Print required paperwork for each shift, including packaging instructions, line inspection forms, artwork, and other production-related documents.
· Print and prepare shipper labels and in-house gallon labels.
· Obtain new standards (STD) from Quality Control for expired products and first production runs.
· Enter payroll-related information, including machine hours, labour hours, and other production data.
· Prepare and print production paperwork for incoming shifts.
· Print shipper labels for after-midnight production activities to support the incoming shift.
· Report any documentation discrepancies or issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor, including outdated CIGs, missing packaging information, or other production concerns.
· Maintain accurate and organized production records in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in an administrative or manufacturing environment is an asset.
· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email.
· Experience using Deacom or other ERP systems is an asset.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
