About Our Family & Job Description: We are a welcoming family located in Ajax, Ontario, and we are currently looking for a nurturing and reliable part-time nanny to work alongside a stay-at-home mother. We have a sweet newborn and are seeking extra hands to help keep our home and daily routine running smoothly. The Right Match: We are ideally looking for a mature, caring individual who has solid experience with newborns. Because this is a collaborative role, you will be working directly alongside the mother. Language Requirement: We are specifically seeking a caregiver who speaks fluent Tamil to help maintain our family's language and cultural traditions with our newborn. Key Responsibilities: Infant Care: Assisting with newborn care, feeding, comforting, and maintaining safe baby routines. Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious daily meals (with a strong preference for someone who is comfortable cooking traditional South Asian / Tamil meals). Light Housekeeping: Keeping the kitchen tidy, washing baby bottles, doing baby laundry, and helping maintain general organization in common areas. Schedule & Compensation: Hours: Part-time (flexible daytime hours to be mutually agreed upon). Arrangement: We are mostly looking for a live-out arrangement, but are open to discussing what works best for the right candidate.
