Purpose

Contributes to the overall success of the Global Insurance globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

What you will be doing:

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank
• relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Act as a performance consultant by assessing learning needs, diagnosing performance gaps, and
• recommending solutions (training, coaching, tools, communications, or process improvements).
• Develop and execute learning, coaching, and performance enablement strategies aligned to Global
• Insurance priorities.
• Design and implement blended learning solutions (ILT, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, assessments,
• job aids, coaching resources).
• Partner with business leaders, channel teams, and SMEs to strengthen insurance knowledge and sales
• effectiveness.
• Support change management, program implementation, feedback collection, and reporting.
• Use data, analytics, and AI tools to improve learning effectiveness, personalization, and efficiency.
• Ensure content is accurate, compliant, and aligned to sales practices, regulatory requirements, and
• governance.
• Enable trainers and coaches through structured guidance and train-the-trainer approaches.
• Track and evaluate success measures including adoption, learning transfer, behavior change, and
• business impact.
• Champion a customer-focused, high-performance, and inclusive work environment.
• Ensure adherence to risk culture, Code of Conduct, Global Sales Principles, and business controls.
• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities
• and decisions.
• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with
• Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy,
• adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to
• operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in adult learning, business, insurance, or
• related field
• Experience in learning design, performance consulting, change management and sales
• enablement
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of insurance products, channels, and regulatory environment
• Experience using learning technologies, analytics, and AI-enabled tools
• Ability to influence, problem-solve, and work in a complex, fast-paced environment
