Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC Schedule: On-site | Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Non-flexible) XTL Transport is looking for a bilingual Dispatcher to join our dynamic operations team.
This role is key to ensuring the smooth coordination of cross-border and domestic deliveries.
We're seeking a candidate who is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing transportation logistics.
Key Responsibilities Maintain constant communication with drivers via phone and internal chat Monitor and respond to operational emails in real-time Manage dispatch operations, including real-time assignment changes and system updates Coordinate and support cross-border shipments with a working understanding of ACE and ACI processes Create and manage cross-border documentation (ACE/ACI) Communicate clearly with drivers performing domestic deliveries Ensure compliance with driver Hours of Service regulations Support customers and internal teams with timely updates and issue resolution Utilize TMS software (experience with AS400 is an asset) Contribute to the development and adherence of operational procedures Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in dispatch or transport operations Fluency in French and English is mandatory Proficiency with dispatch systems and comfort with learning new technologies Excellent typing speed and attention to detail Strong understanding of geography and transportation routes Ability to prioritize and handle pressure effectively Resourceful, independent, and highly organized This is a full-time, permanent on-site position.
